1986 FORD CAPRI 1.6 LASER

The vendor describes this Capri Laser 1.6 as ‘very original’, having bought it in 2017 after it was dry-stored for 14 years. All the brakes were renewed including discs, pads rear shoes, all metal pipes and hoses. The front struts were were replaced, all fluids were changed and the cambelt done. The car then went through its MoT with no advisories or welding - the vendor cites the floor, inner and outer sills and, doors, rear arches tailgate and boot floor as all original and rust-free. The V5C shows just one former registered keeper from new, with the vendor mainly using it for shows during the last five years, covering approximately 2500 miles. All the usual Capri Laser features are intact such as the five-speed gearbox, sunroof, RS wheels, spoiler, leather wheel and tools (which are unused). The odometer shows 12,940 miles and the MoT has recently expired (5 October 2022). Included in the history file is the V5C, MoT certificates from 2019, 2020 and 2021, some invoices from 2017 and 2018 (mainly for brake work) and a parts catalogue from Capri Club International.
