1966 AUSTIN MINI COOPER MKI

This 1966 MkI Mini Cooper (998cc), with 100mph speedometer, was registered in July of that year and is finished in the desirable colour scheme of Tweed Grey with Old English White roof, plus Dove Grey and Dark Grey interior. The vendor describes it as a ‘presentable, usable classic which benefitted from an extensive mechanical overhaul four years ago, with a few odd jobs remaining to complete’. The work then was to bring it to a roadworthy condition, but since then it has only been used a handful of times; mainly having been removed from storage, run up to temperature and driven around the block twice a year. The engine is a replacement one from Southam Mini, noted on the V5C as being of 1056cc. Six registered keepers overall are noted and the mileage is recorded as 03185 on the odometer, although this isn't warranted. As an historic vehicle, the Mini no longer requires manual testing; its last expired in November 2019, having been tested the previous year at 3156 miles. 

Paperwork accompanying the vehicle includes the V5C, Heritage Certificate, MoT certificate from 2018 and a list of the work done during 2018, with a total cost of £3675.
