1964 AUTO UNION DKW MUNGA LHD

The Auto Union-constructed all-wheel drive DKW Munga was in production between 1956 and 1968, intended primarily for military and police organisations, but with civilian variants also available. This one was declared manufactured in 1964 and was used in Spain before coming to the UK. It was registered here in January 1980, Since then, it has had six owners overall. The odometer shows 177 miles. There is no current MoT; as an historic vehicle, as an historic vehicle, the Munga will no longer require one although this will need to be changed on the V5C as it is still under the Private/Light Goods taxation class on there. We're informed by the vendor that the vehicle has had an engine and interior change at some point during its life, with a 1-litre Vauxhall unit now providing propulsion. It is described as running, but the brakes are ‘a bit iffy’ as it has not been used for several years. The paperwork includes the V5C, photocopies of period brochures and some Spanish documentation.
