This Camaro RS convertible - the letters denoting the ‘Rally Sport’ package - dates from the car's first model year, and features a 327ci (5.4-litre) V8 of 275bhp mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Initially registered in the USA in 1967, it was brought to the UK in September 2021 by the previous owner. The vendor tells us that the car runs and drives, but would merit from further inspection after it was recently mechanically recommissioned after having been stored for many years. The car is believed original and hasn't been restored - although new wheels and tyres have apparently been fitted quite recently. The electrically-operated hood was working when the vehicle arrived onsite but has since stopped, it is believed that the switch could be at fault. As the car hasn't been restored, it does show some signs of age, with the bodywork in fair condition and showing some blemishes, patches of sun fading and lacquer wear - most notably on the bonnet. Inside, the blue vinyl interior is surviving relatively well. The odometer shows 6806 miles, but there is no paperwork to clarify this total. As an historic vehicle, the Camaro is now exempt from annual MoT testing.

The only documentation with the Chevy is the V5C, recording just two owners since the car came to the UK.
