1955 CHEVROLET PICK-UP SIDE STEP LHD

This 1955 Chevrolet pick-up, finished in distinctive Grabber Blue, was rebuilt around 2013 (at circa 52,000 miles) using a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 chassis as a basis, along with its engine (a 5.7 litre Dodge Hemi V8), gearbox and running gear. The vendor reports that the vehicle drives well and he is unaware of any issues, save for the air conditioning needing a regas. Although as an historic vehicle declared built in 1955 (although only registered in the UK in March 2013) the Chevy no longer requires an MoT, it has been given one, which is valid until February 2024. Just two registered owners are recorded since the Chevrolet came to the UK, The mileage indicated by the odometer reads 23,676 miles; it may be that the odometer was reset during the rebuild or this now refers to the mileage of the Dodge donor. Documentation accompanying the vehicle includes the V5C and the current MoT certificate.
