602cc petrol, manual. This blue Citroën 2CV6 Spécial is one of the later examples to be built in Paris. It benefits from a galvanised chassis, described by the vendor as “structurally A1”, and is trimmed with its original light-brown interior and floor mats. A light restoration was carried out a few years ago – focusing on the wheels, bumpers and paintwork – and it's presented today in appealingly tidy condition, with a black roof and front seatbelts. Recent works have included a new battery, voltage regulator, ignition coil, oil filler neck breather, bonnet insulation, parcel hammock, MDF boot board and battery cut-off switch. A new battery charger is also included.

The car comes with a stack of receipts, mostly from the last couple of years plus a few from the 2000s, and its original 6-year anti-corrosion guarantee. The file also has MoT certificates going back to 1981, a few old tax discs, and the original handbook pack with 3 stamps in the service book, up to 5298 miles in 1985. It was first registered in Chelmsford in March 1984, and the V5C indicates 6 former keepers.

The vendor advises that the passenger door can only be opened from the inside.
