1957 MG MAGNETTE

1,489cc. This saloon, described as very original with its black livery and red leather interior, was retained by its first owner until 1976 and, we have been advised by the vendor, that the next two owners were his family members. There are several MoTs dating from the 1970's to 2012. In 1978 the mileage is recorded at 55,088 and in 1989 is recorded at 5,169 after a replacement speedometer was fitted. The current mileage reading is 13,475 and it is believed that the total miles covered are around 70,000. The history file contains the original buff and green log books, various MoT's, receipts, articles, an MG Car Club Z Magnette Register magazine from autumn 1986, and original BMC workshop manual.
