This unusual 1980s' electric powered Ligier was designed by the French racing driver Guy Ligier and made by City Wheels Limited, intended to take people on short journeys around towns and cities. The aim was that you would use a credit card to pay for the hire of the vehicle which would be swiped at a charging terminal. The vendor tells us that this one was a prototype for Coventry Council but was never used and has been stood ever since. An near identical example can be seen on display in Coventry Transport Museum. Never having been registered or used, there are no documents with the car and its odometer shows a mere one kilometre
