This 348cc 1961 BSA B40 was fully restored in 2019 and has travelled just a few hundred miles (in the dry) since. Its rebuild involved being stripped and then receiving a full repaint in burgundy, with matching BSA decals, new two-tone grey seat, rechroming, new wheels and hubs, full stainless steel exhaust conversion to 12 volts (with a new battery) and rewiring, but retaining all the original switches and instruments. New Metzeler tyres are fitted, as is a folding handlebar overtaking mirror. The bike was registered in May 1961 and 58,739 miles are showing on the odometer - albeit unwarranted. There is no MoT; as an historic motorbike, annual testing is no longer required. The only documentation with the BSA is the V5C.
