New to the Ministry of Defence in 1977, this 3.5-litre V8-engined Land Rover Forward Control FC101 entered civilian life in 2002, being road-registered in April 2002 (on a 1982 plate). Its odometer shows circa 85,000km but it has been in storage since 2020 so now requires light recommissioning. The lights, steering and brakes all work, and the vendor reports that the chassis is really good and the body straight, with new door tops fitted. Its last MoT expired in December 2021 but the Land Rover should now be eligible for MoT and tax exemption, as an historic vehicle, although this will need to be changed with the DVLA. Paperwork includes the V5C, Heritage Certificate, current MoT certificate and instructions on how to start the FC101.
