1968 BMW 700 LHD

Finished in Chine blue, we have been advised that this well presented BMW 700 LS has previously benefitted from restoration on the Continent, by specialists, but now requires some recommissioning due to lack of use. The work included the exterior paintwork, interior and mechanicals. The vendor also advises that it has been fitted with a new battery, door handles and bonnet catch, the wiper motor linkage reassembled and the brake master cylinder replaced. Described by the vendor as one of the best examples available, this unusual model has a rear mounted 697cc flat-twin engine producing 31bhp, which drives the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. It was originally registered in the UK in 1981 but only has records since 2018.

It comes with some recent registration documents and original owner's manuals.
