1963 PORSCHE 356 S90 LHD

Dating from 1963, this lovely Porsche 356 S90 coupe - aside from the rare twin-cam Carrera model, the most powerful version of the 356 - was imported from the USA and fully restored (with a very detailed photographic record) before being registered in the UK in May 2023, since when it has had just a single registered keeper. Its odometer shows 85677 miles and it has an MoT through to September 2024; however, as an historic vehicle, the Porsche is now MoT-exempt. The 356 is believed to a ‘matching numbers’ example - both the car and its engine do date from the same year, 1962 - although this has to be confirmed. The vendor, who restored the Porsche himself has been in the racing industry for over 50 years including Formula 3000, Formula 3 and local racing schools of Jim Russell, Van Diemen and Ralph Firman. He's also been a restoring cars for over half a century too. In the late-1960s, he was employed by Lotus during the Colin Chapman era and has also worked (and continues to do so) for Peter Denty Racing, specialising in historic and classic racers.  

Accompanying the Porsche is its V5C, current MoT certificate, engine and chassis dating information and a copy of the State of Minnesota Certificate of Title. There's also a large stack of invoices from 2020 to 2023 relating to the restoration along with a memory stick of over 600 images of the rebuild. The correct hubcaps for the Porsche come with it, along with a spare key.
