1980 FORD ESCORT RS 2000 CUSTOM

Restored around 15 years ago by ProDrive employee Michael Collins, this very smart 1980 ‘Droop Snoot’ Ford Escort RS2000 Custom comes with an extensive history dating back to 1990. It is described as running well with no known issues, and is in completely standard form with no modern upgrades. The Ford was registered in May 1980 and is showing circa 33,311 miles on its odometer - which is believed to be 133,311 miles in total. Its last MoT expired in September 2019 after testing the previous year at an indicated 32,628 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Escort is now MoT-exempt. Accompanying the RS2000 is its current V5C, previous V5Cs and a well-organised folder of invoices, MoTs back to 1985.
