The vendor has owned this sporty variant of British Leyland's 1100/1300 range, fitted with the same 70bhp 1275cc A-series engine as found in the MG models and finished in distinctive Black Tulip with a black vinyl roof, for the past three years. Prior to that, the car was restored by a previous owner - possibly around 2018 when it was reregistered (during June of that month). It is described by the vendor as being in very good condition and running well with no issues, having been mainly stored recently albeit used occasionally during that time. The car was registered in January 1974 and is showing 47,288 miles on its odometer. As an historic vehicle, the Austin is MoT-exempt; its last expired in August 2022 after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 47,253 miles. The paperwork includes the current and a past V5C (showing four owners overall) plus a single bill from July 2023 for new ignition parts and some rewiring.
