The Century has been Toyota's luxury flagship since 1967, over three generations. However, examples are rarely seen outside of Japan. This one, a second gen 4996cc model dating from 1998 with a very plush and technology-packed interior, was originally used by the Japanese Embassy (when its numberplate was JPN 1D, which is still used today by the Embassy). Its date of UK registration was October 2004; since then it has had five registered keepers. Its MoT is valid until April 2024 and its odometer shows 158,272 miles. The car is described as running and driving, although it does have a small leak on the air suspension. This means the front end goes down overnight, but the vendor reports that it comes back up when started. The car has seen little use over the last few years.

Documentation accompanying the Century includes the V5C, original book pack with owner's manuals in English and Japanese, Toyota dealership map, alarm instructions and Motorola car-phone guide. The service book is stamped up to 141,000 miles although the date isn't filled in; however, the service before was at 128,632 miles in April 2005. The invoices and sundry paperwork include a bill for four new tyres in March 2020, at a cost of £1140.82, and there are MoT certificates from 2005, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2020 and 2023. A spare key also comes with the vehicle.
