1985 RENAULT FUEGO TURBO

Renault Fuegos are rare cars now, especially in more desirable 132bhp turbocharged form. The vendor has owned this one since 2018 and initially spent about £1300 with specialist Renault Reborn on work. He describes the car as ‘mechanically very good, running well and reliable, and used most days’ - albeit with electric windows that are slow to operate. The 1565cc car was registered in August 1985 and is MoT'd through to May 2024. It received a full service in January 2023. The odometer shows 117,971 miles. Documentation accompanying the Fuego includes the V5C, three brochures, old tax discs, Blaupunkt radio instructions, and some photos. The large stack of bills stretch right the way back to 1988 and there are two typed sheets detailing all the work done from August 1985 through to November 2003 (at 109,405 miles). This shows that the car was restored during 1997. The original book pack contains the owner's handbook plus European dealership directory, and there are MoT certificates from 1995 to 2006, 2011, 2018 and 2022 to 2023 plus some Renault Owners' Club magazines. The car also comes with a spare set of keys.
