3,459cc. This elegant Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 Coupe, finished in the rare, and in our opinion the best, colour of Moss green with the original Parchment full leather interior, looks simply stunning. It was registered left-hand drive from new in Germany. These cars were the ultimate in luxury and the 3.5 litre model has been described as one of the finest four-seat GT cars produced and this one is no exception. Benefiting from the floor change auto, it has a host of other options and equipment including electric windows, leather dash and glovebox and sunroof. The car has recently been subject to expenditure of around £20,000 including the paintwork and chrome all round, which looks lovely, refurbished wheels and new whitewall tyres. It even has the proper boot mat. Described as driving very well, it has passed its newly issued MoT without advisories. 

First registered in the UK in 2008, it had had one owner since until 2022 when acquired by the last owner. It has been in storage for around a year. Whilst in the UK, the car has been professionally stored and maintained by Storacar from 2008 until 2013 and subsequently was serviced by Roger Edwards until 2022.  

The vendor is currently trying to trace the service history, of which we have copies, and includes the following:
Datacard, DEKRA inspection certificates covering 2005 to 2008, copy of the first V5, Storacar and Roger Edward receipts, MoTs, German registration documents and handbook. A new V5 has been applied for and will be provided on receipt.
