1990 LOTUS ELAN SE TURBO

The M100 Series Lotus Elan, launched in August 1989, revived a great name from the marque's glorious 1960s and 1970s past, albeit in front-wheel rather than rear-wheel drive form. This is the more powerful turbocharged SE variant, registered in May 1990. It has had just two recorded keepers overall, with the last having it for 32 years (from less than a year old). It is MoT'd through to April 2024 and the odometer shows 72,045 miles. This can be warranted by the paperwork file. The car is described by the vendor as running well, having been serviced less than 1000 miles ago although he states the engine management light comes on and off intermittently and has done for many years although having no impact on the cars performance). The soft-top is in good order and an immobiliser is fitted.  Documentation accompanying the Elan includes the V5C, owner's handbook, Blaupunkt Cambridge radio/cassette instructions, old tax discs and sundry paperwork and invoices going back to new. There are also MoT certificates from 2005 to 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2023 while the service book has 30 stamps through to 71,611 miles in April 2022. Two spare keys also come with the vehicle as well.
