1955 TRIUMPH TR2

Finished in its original colour of Triumph Racing green with contrasting Matador red interior and carpets. This Triumph TR2 also remains on its original steel wheels with Triumph globe hubcaps and has a Black mohair roof with original type vinyl side-screens in good condition. First in Jersey, the car was UK registered in 1963.

The car was totally restored around 2008 to 2010 and has covered around 400 dry miles since, having been in professional storage in Kent. Its MoT expired in June 2022 but the car has been started and moved around regularly.

Described by the vendor as running and driving nicely with no overheating issues, a crisp overdrive gearbox and perky performance from the 1991cc engine. Its history file contains current V5, green log book, copy Standard Register confirming production details, original sales leaflet, tax discs, various receipts, MoTs and spare keys.
