1990 FORD ESCORT XR3I CONVERTIBLE SE500

This is one of just (a believed) 500 Special Edition XR3i models, unofficially referred to as the ‘All Blue’ or ‘SE500', all of which were only available with Pacifica Blue Metallic paintwork and Shadow leather trim, coded with red and blue inserts, along with RS Turbo wheels. This example presents very well indeed, albeit with some age-related markings and areas where remedial cosmetic refurbishment has been carried out to keep it looking good. The hood is in very good order, albeit with two very small slits around the lower edge fixings (to the outer layer only and hardly noticeable). The interior is also in very fine order with just a slight distortion to the driver's seat bolster evident, but no significant wear, rips or sunlight damage. Registered in March 1990, this example is showing 8357 miles on its odometer; it has been in storage lately so is being sold without any MoT; its last expired in May 2022 after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 8357 miles. The vendor reports the car as all-running. Documentation accompanying the Ford runs to the V5C only.
