1967 VW KOMBI 12 SEATER

1967 VW Kombi was imported from Germany in 1982 when it was issued with an X suffix registration and converted to a right-hand drive Camper. This rolling shell restoration project, was purchased by the vendor in 2010 and, at this time, all bodywork had been completed. The work had commenced in 2006. Since his purchase, it has been stored undercover. The conversion originally used the left-hand drive dash but this was later changed to an original right-hand drive dash. The engine (originally 1,493cc) is not present but many parts are including the RHD steering box and column, lights, glass and steering wheel. The rear suspension and rear brakes have been overhauled and the gearbox, linkages and fuel tank fitted. 

The current and older V5s confirm the registration number issued as UDV 165X. MoTs from 1987 to 2000, 2010 bill of sale for £9,500, pre-restoration copy photos, parts receipts, workshop manual and DVLA correspondence complete the file.
