1972 TRIUMPH SPITFIRE

This 1493cc Spitfire was restored approximately 15 years ago, and the vendor reports that it drives well, benefitting from an overdrive gearbox. The Triumph was registered in August 1972 and is showing 40,768 miles on its odometer. Up until 1994, the Triumph was yellow; its colour was changed to blue on the V5C in May 1994. As an historic vehicle, the Spitfire no longer requires an MoT; its last expired in April 2019 after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 39,956 miles. The paperwork that accompanies the vehicle includes the V5C, a single invoice, the MoT certificate from 2018, two workshop manuals and old Rimmer Bros parts and accessories guides.
