2009 ABARTH GRANDE PUNTO ESSEESSE 185 BHP 8,865 MILES 

The Abarth Grande Punto was the first car from the newly reintroduced Fiat-owned Abarth brand. When initially launched, the Abarth Grande Punto had a 153bhp 1.4-litre turbocharged engine, but from 2008, there was the option of the Esseesse kit, which could be installed at official Abarth service centres rather than in the factory. Among its various refinements were uprated wheels, brakes, turbo, intake, fuel rail, ECU, suspension and more, with an enhanced power output of 185bhp. The cars are very rare, and this Bosso Nova White with black leather example is rarer still, thanks to its genuine low mileage of 8865 miles, which can be warranted over the history. 

It was ordered new by its one registered keeper with the options of climate control, red side stripes and mirror covers, and a leather interior, plus the full Esseesse pack. In total the options added up to over £5500 in total. The Fiat was registered in July 2009. The Abarth Esseesse certificate, covering letter and metal plaques denoting the upgrade pack number are included in the history folder. A recent cambelt and water pump change have been carried out, along with new premium tyres fitted all around. The vendor reports that the Abarth is an ‘excellent car to drive’. It is MoT'd through to December 2023.  

The paperwork file includes the V5C and original book pack, with owner's handbook, audio instructions, radio code, other new car literature and the service book, which is stamped up to 5165 miles in December 2015. There's also various invoices from throughout the car's life, the original new car invoice (showing a total price of £19,713 in 2009), a buyer's guide, the Certificate of Elaboration confirming the car has been fitted with Esseesse kit number 472, and the metal plaques. The most recent MoT certificate is also included, plus there's a spare key too.
