1977 CITROEN LOMAX

This French Blue Citroen 2CV-based kit car was built in 1988 but has a registration number based on its 2CV donor, which was registered in May 1977. This means that it is classed as an historic vehicle and is thus MoT and tax exempt. The vendor tells us that the car has always been dry stored and is started and used regularly. He also says that it runs and drives as it should and was driven 35 miles to the auction. Recent work undertaken, according to the vendor, includes all-new brake pipes, recent service, new starter motor, oil cooler, brakes, carburettor and battery. The car is supplied with a cockpit cover in the rear panel, where the dickey seat is. The mileage indicated on the odometer is circa 68,000 miles and six registered owners overall are recorded. 

History supplied with the car includes the V5C, Haynes 2CV workshop manual, Lomax parts and accessories list, build instructions, brochures, newspaper articles and some club literature. There's also MoT certificates from 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2012, a few invoices and some photos.
