1972 VOLVO 144 DL

1986cc DL variant. Less than 60 Volvo 144s remain registered at the DVLA including around 30 being licensed to be used on the road. Following a five-year period off the road, this rare saloon has been subject of minor recommissioning and was newly MoT'd in November 2022. It is described as running well. It comes with MoTs, some receipts, bills of sale dated 2018 and 2022, owner's manual and service manual. A new set of period mud flaps are included. The mileage is recorded at 84,588. This Volvo 144 was purchased at our January auction by the vendor to fulfil a filming commitment. The vehicle was not used and so it is now being re-offered. Recent work includes a new carburettor, brakes and ignition. Documentation with the Volvo includes the V5C, owner's manual, an official Volvo workshop manual and its Haynes equivalent, some receipts and MoT certificates. The vehicle also comes with a spare set of keys as well.
