1987 TOYOTA MR2

Registered in December 1987 with just 57,876 miles showing on its odometer, this MR2 is described by the vendor as superb example of the MkI with its desirable pop-up headlights. The lively and economical 1587cc twin-cam engine is complimented by a five-speed gearbox. We're told that there are none of the common issues with the fifth gear. The cambelt has recently been changed and a full service carried out. Since 2006, the car has covered less than 7000 miles, having mainly been in dry storage. The car is MoT'd through to May 2023. 

Presented in White with colour-coded door mirrors, all seams and shut-lines are in very good order. The original teardrop wheels have been refurbished. The extremely tidy interior is in contrasting blue velour. There's a factory-fitted sunroof along with the original Toyota sunroof headliner, factory-fitted Toyota Clarion radio/cassette. 

The documentation includes the present and some past V5Cs, MoT certificates from 2003 and 2022, and the original book pack with owner's manual, radio instructions, dealer guide, fuel economy information and service book stamped up to 46,484 miles in August 2001. The car also comes with a spare set of keys.
