1964 DAIMLER 250 V8 Auto

One of a pair of sequentially-registered family-owned Daimler 250 V8s in our sale. This 1964 Daimler, WVG 564, and its sister, WVG 565, were owned by a husband and wife who bought them separately but ended up with two almost identical cars, their numberplates just one digit away from each other. Stored up in a garage many years ago, both these 2548cc V8-engined Daimler variants of Jaguar's MkII now require full restoration. 

This one was registered in March 1964 and comes with its older style V5 - showing just a single owner - along with its original green logbook showing a further two owners, one of whom was Winston Churchill - but not that one, as this Mr Churchill lived in Lowestoft and owned the Daimler eight years after his illustrious namesake had passed away.
