1997 MAZDA MX-5 HARVARD

The Mazda MX-5 Harvard was a limited edition model named after the famous US college. Just 500 cars were produced for the UK market between May and September 1997, costing £17,495. The colour scheme was Silver Stone metallic paint with a dark red interior, dark red leather seat facings with grey trim and matching door panels. A leather three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, MX-5 logo stainless sill plates, wood dashboard trim, Harvard branded carpet mats, and a polished cabin brace bar completed the interior while the exterior boasted 15in five-spoke alloy wheels and special Harvard badges. 

This example was purchased by the vendor in 2021 from somebody who had owned it for seven years, but he has not had the time to use it or look after it as he'd like to, hence its sale. The car was registered in August 1997 and has 96,202 miles showing on its odometer, largely supported by the service history. The MoT is valid until December 2023. Accompanying the Mazda is its current V5C along with a past one, plus owner's manual and service book which is stamped up to 95,312 miles in June 2020. There are various invoices from throughout the car's life, including the original bill of sale (for £17,640.95) and MoT certificates back to 2001, including the current one.
