The Renault Sport Clio V6 bears little resemblance, at least mechanically, to the standard French family hatchback model. Starting with the shell of a front wheel drive standard Clio, the cars were completely reworked to house a 2946cc V6 engine, mounted in place of the rear seats. While the result bore a striking resemblance to the mass market cars, it was completely different, only sharing very minor body parts. Between 2001 and 2002, there were just 1555 production examples of these very hot hatches built. This example was registered in January 2002 as S55 SEM and has had four previous registered keepers.
