1985 FORD CAPRI 2.8i SPECIAL 

The fuel-injected 2.8-litre MkIII was one of the most desirable Capri incarnations during the model's 17-year run over three generations. This example, registered in January 1985, has been off-the-road since around 2009 and barn-stored.  The comparatively low mileage of around 56,703 miles is believed genuine, and the car is described as very original and unmolested inside and out, even retaining its original stereo. There is no current MoT; its last was undertaken in July 2009 at 56,546 miles. The documentation accompanying the vehicle includes the V5C, book pack with operating guide, radio instructions and Ford accessories guide. The service book is stamped through to 39,954 miles in December 1994. There are some invoices from around the early part of the 21st century, plus a copy of a Capri 2.8i road test from a 2005 issue of Classic Car Weekly and MoT certificates from 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2009.
