1979 FORD CAPRI 2.0 GL MKIII 28,386 MILES

This Apollo Green Metallic MK3 Capri was purchased new by our vendor in 1979, although initially registered to a family friend who worked at Ford for the first 12 months in order to qualify for the employee discount. Immediately Ziebart treated upon delivery, a stainless steel exhaust was fitted two years later. Described as having always been garaged and professionally maintained, the front wings were replaced in 1988. In 1992 the owner went overseas to work for six months and the car was put into air conditioned storage. The initial six month period was extended to twenty one years and upon their return to the UK in 2013 the Capri was fully overhauled and serviced.
