1955 ARIEL VB 600CC

The vendor describes this 1955 Ariel VB as a ‘lovely British 1950s 600cc single thumper’. The bike, which is on stainless Devon rims and has a solid state regulator, was recently treated to a dynamo and magneto rebuild. A previous owner was Chris Barrie, of Red Dwarf and The Brittas Empire fame. The mileage showing on the odometer is 1893 miles and the last MoT expired in August 2007, although as an historic vehicle, the bike no longer requires annual testing. The documentation with the bike includes the V5C, owner's manual, instructions on how to start the motorcycle, an MoT certificate from 2006, a few invoices from around a decade ago, and some magazine articles about the Ariel VB.
