The Cavalier SRi was probably the most desirable of the MkII Cavalier range, offering a level of sportiness lacking in its lesser siblings. This example, registered in March 1985, has been with the same owner since 1989 and has 64,360 miles showing on its odometer. After being stored away for a number of years, it has just been recommissioned, with the work including new fuel hosing, cambelt and stainless steel exhaust. There is also now an MoT through to November 2023. The vendor describes the Cavalier as ‘a very solid example that runs and drives as it should’. He further describes the interior as ‘great, other than some wear to the driver’s bolster'. Other than the newly-fitted stainless steel exhaust and front driving lamps, the car remains unmodified from original.

The history folder includes an old style V5C showing two registered keepers in total, along with some brochures, the original owner's handbook, an invoice for the recent recommissioning work in November 2022 at a cost of £1710, and MoT certificates from 1996, 1997, 1998 (63,884 miles) and 2022. There's also an AA membership booklet from 1988/89 and the service book stamped up to 60,600 miles in September 1996.
