2495cc N/A diesel, manual. This Land Rover Defender is an ex-military FFR ('Fitted For Radio') 110 hardtop which belonged to the MoD until 2012. The vendor has owned it ever since, so its V5C shows zero former keepers, and the MoT record shows that under 11,000kms (6800 miles) have been driven since then. The body is unusually straight for an ex-military Land Rover, with practicality boosted by exterior lockers both sides and seating for 2 in the back, plus the base unit for the radio equipment. The engine wears a “remanufactured for the MOD” plaque and appears to be a normally-aspirated 12J diesel, still equipped with its military-spec 24v generator. The wheels are heavy-duty ‘Wolf' spec rims with Goodyear tyres.

The Land Rover comes with MoT certificates from throughout its time in civilian ownership, and the current MoT is valid to 5th July 2027. It also comes with its number plate authorisation certificate, ‘application for disposal’ certificate via Withams, and a receipt for a full engine service plus new clutch hydraulics a few months ago. The odometer shows 69,005 kms (equating to 37,285 miles).

Its Army registration was CD70AA.
