1982 AUSTIN MINI 1275 TURBO

1275cc turbo, manual. This project Mini is a rare car, bought by the vendor 35 years ago and comprehensively rebuilt, but put in storage without being finished. We're told the turbocharged Metro engine and gearbox were sourced from a 15k-mile donor, and everything else was custom or new. It has a special wide body made in steel, a custom stainless exhaust, and sits on 13-inch alloy wheels.

The car registered with the DVLA as a “Mini hatchback”, one of only six such examples. It comes with many spare parts, including new seats still unwrapped, and a collection of photographs which can be made available to the next owner via email.

We don’t have any maintenance history with this car, but the V5C is present. It indicates 3 former keepers, and describes the car as a “Mini 850” with 1275cc engine, first registered overseas.
