1968 MORRIS MINOR 1000

1098cc, manual. This lovely Morris Minor convertible received a restoration in 2016 and still presents nicely, with paintwork in Old English White, and a smart red interior with a CD player in the glove box, 12v socket and a battery kill switch under the dash. The restoration also included the installation of a Powerbrake servo, halogen headlamps and alternator, and an unleaded head conversion.

The large history file contains photos of the car during its restoration, followed by its Memorandum of Sale from Charles Ware Morris Minor Centre in 2016 for nearly £16k. The same specialist issued an insurance valuation in 2017, which mentions underseal and wax injection and a new (2017) hood. Although the latest MoT expired in 2021, the last few tests were all passed with no advisories, and as a historic vehicle it is now exempt from testing requirements.

The car is supplied with its current V5C showing only 3 former keepers, and a set of spare keys. The odometer shows 88,719 miles.
