1976 FORD GRANADA GHIA AUTO
2994cc petrol, automatic. This Mk1 Ford Granada Ghia saloon shows only 44,170 miles on its odometer, which is supported by a nice collection of MoT certificates going all the way back to 1979. The lovely Arizona Gold paintwork and vinyl roof date from a respray in its original shade in 2001, and the clean beige cloth interior is equipped with a sunroof. The vendor describes it as a “loved and looked-after car all its life”.
Although there is little maintenance history, we're told it has been maintained by a Ford mechanic who is a lifelong friend of the vendor, and the carburettors and brake master cylinder are reportedly new. The V5C records 7 former keepers, and the car was first registered in April 1976. It also comes with a Haynes manual and the original handbooks. The latest MoT expired in 2018, but as a historic vehicle it is now exempt from testing requirements.
The vendor adds: “It has always turned heads when on the road and been our pride and joy. The next owner hopefully will love it as much as our family has. Bon voyage!”
