1978 TRIUMPH SPITFIRE 1500
The vendor describes this unrestored Triumph Spitfire MkIV as a ‘straight and solid, good, clean honest car’ which runs and drives but has been sat idle for the last few years. Its hood is reported as good. The Triumph has recently received new tyres. Its date of registration was February 1978 and its odometer now shows 72,279 miles. There's no MoT; the last expired in March 2016 after being tested the year before at an indicated 72,267 miles. The Spitfire should now be tax- and MoT-exempt now as an historic vehicle, but its details will need to be changed with the DVLA as the V5C still lists it as Private/Light Goods.
Paperwork includes the V5C, MoT certificates, photos, and assorted notes and invoices indicating a full engine rebuild was carried out in 2012 at around 71,500 miles.
