Part of our retirement sale direct from a film company, this 1945 Morris Z van is described by the vendor as in very original condition although it has had a rebuilt engine. It has starred in several movies and TV shows including The Theory of Everything, A Royal Night Out, Allied, Nowhere Boy, The Imitation Game, Bert & Dickie, Call the Midwife, Foyle's War, Miss Marple, The Shirley Bassey Story and WPC 56. In A Royal Night Out, it was used as a main character vehicle.

The Morris was registered in August 1945 according to the copy of the Heritage Certificate that comes with it, and was originally a Royal Mail engineering van. It was re-registered in April 2002, since when it has had just one owner. The odometer shows 02462 miles and the last MoT expired in June 2011, after having been tested the previous year at an indicated 2040 miles. However, as an historic vehicle, the Morris no longer needs annual testing. Paperwork includes the V5C, Heritage Certificate photocopy and numberplate correspondence after the Morris was returned to the road circa 2001.
