2008 VAUXHALL ASTRA VXR NURBURGRING

One of seven Vauxhalls from a family collection (in which it has been since October 2014) being sold at this auction, this excellent condition 2008 Vauxhall Astra VXR Nurburgring was registered in April 2008 and has had two owners from new. Its odometer shows 35,723 miles and it has an MoT valid until May 2025. Only 835 Nurburgring VXEs were produced and this is number 167. The model cost over £1500 more than the standard VXR and included new 18-inch 18-spoke wheels and an extra 15bhp courtesy of a Remus sports exhaust plus special Nurburgring badging and chequered flag body graphics. The interior featured Recaro sports seats with full leather trim, carbon fibre detailing and a special plaque with its edition number.

Paperwork with the Vauxhall includes its V5C plus book pack with owner's manual, audio manual, radio code and quick start guide. The service book is stamped up to 31,692 miles in September 2015. There's also a selection of MoT certificates and invoices covering much of the car's life.
