1961 MG A 1600 COUPE 

New to South Africa in 1961, this MGA 1600 Coupe was imported from there to the UK in 2022, and registered here in June of that year. The vendor acquired it in November 2022. He describes it as a ‘generally good, solid car probably because of the South African climate that runs nicely, which is very presentable and can be used and enjoyed as it is, or has scope for improvement’. It was driven 50 miles to the auction with no issues. The car comes with its original steering wheel and rocker cover; the heater unit has been refurbished and powder-coated. The odometer shows 43,939 miles; there's no MoT but as an historic vehicle, the MGA no longer requires annual testing. The car has been garaged when not in use but run regularly. Recent work has included a servicing and fuel clean-through and flush.  

Paperwork includes the current and past V5Cs (showing two registered keepers since the car came to the UK), import and clearance documentation and some invoices, along with some photographs as well.
