1961 SUNBEAM RAPIER CONVERTIBLE 

1,600cc. One of nine cars from a private, long-term collection owned by a retired engineer. This Rapier Convertible was discovered by the vendor in a lock-up in 1989 where it had been stored for many years. It had had just one recorded owner until that time. The vendor undertook a comprehensive restoration and during the 1990's it was shown at Owners Club shows. It appears that in 1996 it was voted Car of the Day by members of the Owners Club. The car runs and drives but to bring it back to its former standard it does require some work including the paintwork. Comes with current and older V5s, many MoTs dating from 1989 to 2012, restoration and show photos. The mileage is recorded at 32,065.
