The vendor describes this fully-rebuilt Ducati 250 as in 'exceptional condition', with many new parts, all bearings and seals replaced, along with new chrome, tyres, battery and wiring. It's been fitted with an Amal concentric carburettor but the original Dell'Orto comes with the bike as well. According to the vendor, the Ducati is an 'easy starter and runs like new'. The 248cc machine was registered in April 1974 and now shows 386 miles on its odometer, although this isn't warranted. As an historic bike, the Ducati no longer requires an MoT, its last expired in November 2020, after being undertaken the previous year at 378 miles. Included in the history folder is the V5C, Haynes workshop manual, a copy of Real Classic magazine with an article on Ducatis, copies of other magazine articles, a substantial stack of invoices from around 2014 to 2017 and photos of the restoration. There's also the MoT certificate from November 2020 and a notebook listing the costs associated with the restoration, amounting to £5957.85 (albeit including the £3700 purchase price for the bike before it was rebuilt). The bike also comes with a spare key.
