1981 AUDI QUATTRO LHD

Previously owned for 20 years by an Audi enthusiast mechanic who has stored this Audi Quattro in a temperature controlled garage, undertaking a gradual restoration. During his ownership this early ‘B-Chassis' Audi Quattro has benefitted from a full engine out/ glass out restoration and respray. 

A twin headlamp LHD version, finished in Diamond Silver with Brown Velour interior is from the first full year of Quattro production and features the 197 BHP 5 cylinder, SOHC 10 valve turbo engine with manual transmission, original cable operated differential locks front and rear. With only two former keepers and showing 53,220 miles this Audi Quattro presents a great opportunity to finish the restoration (which was abandoned due to ill health) to produce a lovely example of this desirable 80s classic.

Whilst out of the car the engine has been stripped and rebuilt as part of the extensive restoration, however it now has a misfire but does run and is smoky. For this reason the vehicle is being offered as a non runner. The only documentation with the car is an older V5
