1971 MORRIS 8 CWT PICK-UP

Treated to a full body-off restoration approximately six years ago, with photographic evidence - in both print and digital CD-ROM form - supplied in the history folder. Has had a front disc brake conversion, along with five-speed gearbox from a Ford Sierra mated to a 1275cc engine. The latter was refurbished by Ivor Searle around 1000 miles ago. The fuel tank is new, plus new carpets and replacement leather seats are provided. The vehicle was registered in June 1971 and has an odometer reading of 930 miles, which the vendor (who has owned the Minor since 2006) tells us was because the speedometer was changed when the reconditioned engine was fitted. As an historic vehicle, the Morris is now exempt from annual MoT testing; its last one expired in September 2019. The paperwork includes the V5C, pack of photos, CD-ROM of images, Ivor Searle engine warranty and fitting instructions and a single bill for gearbox work in 2009. There's also a spare set of keys.
