This Daimler V8 250 left the factory finished in Sable Brown with Cinnamon trim. It was registered in August 1969, with its first owner keeping it for 20 years but using it quite sparingly. Its second owner had it from 1989 to 2005, after which it moved to an Irish dealer. After being sold on from there, it was restored by its next, and most recent keeper, which included a full strip-down and repaint in Opalescent Silver Blue with grey hide. Chrome wire wheels were added along with a Coombes bonnet - although the original bonnet and rear spats are available if required. The vendor describes the chromework as ‘excellent’ and the engine, with automatic gearbox, as ‘sounding beautiful, with excellent oil pressure’. The engine and gearbox were rebuilt as part of the restoration. However, post-refurbishment, the Jaguar covered around 200 miles before its owner decided it was too good to keep mainly standing around in his garage and decided to part with it. The history file is extensive, with the current and previous V5Cs, photos of the car prior to its restoration, sales brochures and servicing and maintenance records back to when it was new. There's also the original owner's handbook and Heritage Certificate. 41,093 miles are showing on the odometer, and there is an MoT through to May 2023.
