Enamel Bugatti Sign 50 x 31cm by Emaillerie Alsacienne Strasbourg - One or two of these signs were originally produced to adorn the entrance of the Bugatti factory by the Emaillerie Alsacienne Strasbourg. Those sign(s) subsequently disappeared or have been destroyed. Bugatti historian, Hugh Conway, aware of their existence, then decided, with the Bugatti owners club England in the early 1960’s, to commission the original company to produce a handful for the club members. It is believed that the one offered here is from this batch.
