1973 FORD ESCORTMK1 2.0 COSWORTH

This MkI Escort began life as a humble 1300 XL, being registered in August 1973. However, it has now been extensively modified, with a Sierra Cosworth 2.0-litre engine at its heart. The story of the car was chronicled in a late-2010 issue of RetroFord magazine, which comes with the history folder. Unfortunately, the relevant section on UHL 943M has been removed. However, we do know that the vendor has owned this very dramatic-looking Ford since 2017 and covered around 500 miles during that time. The odometer currently shows 37,165 miles, albeit not warranted. As an historic vehicle, the Ford no longer requires an MoT; its last expired in May 2018, having been tested the previous year at 36,984 miles. The car comes with its V5C, a handful of bills from 2010 to 2015, and MoT certificates from 2004, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017, plus the incomplete RetroFord magazine.
