1967 FORD TRANSIT MKI

Early Ford Transits are scarce these days, despite being practically everywhere when they were current vehicles. Hard use meant that the vast majority have disappeared. This 1967 example is thus a rare survivor. The vehicle was registered in June 1967 - less than two years after the Transit was introduced - and now shows 42,343 miles on its odometer. The V5C refers to it as being green and of 1.6-litre capacity; however, there was no 1.6-litre V4 engine option on the MkI Transit, and the chassis plate indicates it's a 2.0-litre. The only documentation with the van is its V5C.
